Rincon Falls (via Black Pool)
Rincon or El Torro Water Falls lies deep in the lush forest of Las Cuevas. The journey begins in the foothills of the Rincon Valley with a relatively steep incline that culminates in the forest.
As our journey continues, we cross numerous streams until we meet the incredible wonderful Black Pool. The name derives from the stone color in the water and not the water itself. Here we take a dip and then move on towards Rincon. In the distance you can hear the sounds of the falls roaring through the forest drawing you closer until you meet the raging water cascading down into the pool below. After a steep descent to the base of the falls, you arrive upon the 250 foot giant. Rincon is not just picturesque but offers an opportunity to relax under the falls and feel the power of the 250 foot drop.
