Hidden along the North Coast Road just before Las Cuevas lies Zorro village, the starting point of the hike.
We trek along flat terrain until we come upon the river where the water is shallow and invitingly cool. We eventually stumble upon a hill that is not steep but constant all the way to the top. Along our journey we are treated to very lush and green forest and a small waterfall that is carved into the forest corner. As the hill flattens, the roar of the falls echoes in the distance luring each hiker until we meet the magnificent Angel Falls; three levels of falls that are perfect for a dip or just relaxing under the cool running waters. The name Angel Falls derives from the visual impact of the water cascading from the crack of the mountain. It portrays a celestial, mystical appearance creating an angelic effect. The flawless pool perfect for non-swimmers to take a dip and just soaks your cares away.
