Brasso Seco provides a window to some of the most pristine and diverse locales in Trinidad’s Northern Range. Originally established in the early 1900’s as a Cocoa and Coffee plantation, the area is still rich with assorted fruit trees and is surrounded by pristine rain forests full of crystal clear rivers, countless waterfalls and a plethora of birds, butterflies, mammals, reptiles & insects. The Hike begins on an open trail that meanders over a bench trail for approximately eight miles through untapped rainforest till you arrive at the unspoiled beach of Paria. Here you are offered the chance to take a dip in the falls and soak up all what nature has to offer. This hike is not for the leisure hiker but for those who wish to test their fitness.
